Down & Feather Quilt Cleaning
With over 50 years of experience in down and feather quilt cleaning and rejuvenation in Australia, we guarantee our clients a more restful night’s sleep.
Our services and pricing include:
1. Total Refresh, Double Wash Laundry Service
This service includes a thorough double wash that removes dirt and allergens from your quilts. It’s perfect for a quick refresh, ensuring your bedding feels clean and inviting. Please note that the filling is not removed for separate treatment. Pick-up/Delivery is NOT available for this service.

2. Double Wash, Loft & Top Up Service
Is your quilt feeling flat and less comfortable? Our Double Wash, Loft & Top Up service not only cleans your quilts but also adds fresh down or feather filling, restoring their cosy feel. Please note that the top-up ratio is 30% down to 70% feather, and the filling is not removed for separate treatment in this service.

3. Deluxe Quilt Cleaning, Refresh & Loft Service
We offer a “complete” clean for your quilt, including the removal of filling (depending on casing style) and a thorough washing of your casing, ensuring it stays fresh for another 12 months.
This service is available for Single, Double, Queen, King, and Super King sizes at $135.
4. Deluxe Down Quilt Cleaning & Top Up - Recase (if required)
Down quilt rejuvenation, our “original” service, involves a full-filling treatment where your feather/down is removed (pending casing style), washed, dried, and lofted. We then top up your quilt with equal quality to the content supplied, bringing it back to its original warmth, and then re-fill it back into your cover.
Our cover treatment involves cold washing your 100% cotton down-proof fabric cover (to prevent shrinkage) with a mild detergent. This allows the feather/down to the loft once it is refilled back into the cover. A new Japara cover is also available in either a walled/channelled or cassette-boxed style.
Please note that the price is available upon inspection for casing style or quilt size changes.

At Scandinavian Quilt Co, we specialise in thoroughly cleaning your pillow filling, followed by recasting and topping up to restore its original loft and comfort. Whether you have standard, European, or king-sized pillows, we ensure they receive the expert care they need to feel fresh and inviting again.

For customers outside the metro area, we provide Australia-wide delivery. Standard Australian postal charges apply.
